What is the mission of the Long Range Planning Ministry?

The mission of the Long Range Planning Ministry is to support the ministry of APC by recommending long range spiritual, denominational, and procedural plans to support the work of session. The ministry reviews and revises the existing APC Five-Year Ministry Plan in the context of individual ministry goals and objectives as they relate to our church vision and mission. They proactively monitor denominational activity through Presbytery and other resources and gauge how the activity may affect the mission of our congregation. The ministry also reviews existing church procedures and structures and provides recommendations for improvement. These tasks are performed through the following areas:
