At APC you will find people from many different walks of life, and also different places in their spiritual journeys. If you are considering joining us for Sunday worship, we are confident that you will find people just like you who want to understand God more deeply, share life with others, and make a difference in our community and world. As our mission statement says, we seek to Know Christ, Grow in Faith, and Serve Others.
COMMUNITY OF BELIEVERS
Together we are a community of believers. We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another.
Looking to get plugged in? We would love to help! We have a ministry for everyone. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us.
We believe that engaging in fellowship is a very important thing. Small groups allow for us to grow together as the body of Christ.
Looking to engage in a relaxed environment? Join us for coffee and conversation after worship on Sunday mornings.
COME AS YOU ARE
We are all on this spiritual journey together, regardless of how we dress or what translation of the Bible we read. Whether you are unwinding from a busy week, or recharging for the week ahead, you will find a warm, welcoming environment here at APC.
BRING YOUR BIBLE!
We encourage everyone to bring their Bibles on Sunday and to church events and activities. God calls for us to dive into the Word, and we want to do that together. Most of us carry around a Bible in our pocket every day without thinking about it. Feel free to pull out your smart phones and open up your Bible on whatever app you wish. Let's read together!
If you'd like to volunteer in one of our ministry areas, there are plenty of opportunities available. Here's how to get started:
Pick the ministry that best suits you
Consider whether you are looking for a short-term or ongoing opportunity
Check your calendar for availability
Once you identify a ministry that interests you, here are the next important steps to help you get connected:
Contact the Ministry Leader
Identify specific needs within the ministry that work with your schedule
Meet with others within the ministry
Step 3 is the most important of all! Get ready to roll up your sleeves and work with your new ministry team:
PRAY for your ministry
Build relationships with others and share new ideas.
