Ashburn Presbyterian Church is part of the body of Christ and is rooted in scripture, which tells us in Colossians 3:16 to "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God."

10:30 AM SUNDAY WORSHIP

Worship is central to our life at Ashburn Presbyterian Church. We worship the Lord in our daily lives and we come together corporately as the body of Christ to worship every week. True worship is a dynamic encounter with the Living God. We believe that worship is participatory, and includes not only music, but the proclamation of God’s Word, teaching it to others and lovingly serving one another.

"The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the Lord with ONE voice. They raised their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments in praise to the Lord: For He is good; His faithful love endures forever; the temple, the Lord's temple, was filled with a cloud. And because of the cloud, the priests were not able to continue ministering, for the glory of the Lord filled God's temple." - 2 Chronicles 5:13-14

Our worship music embraces a variety of styles that may be led by our traditional Sanctuary Choir, the organ and piano, violin or flute, or even by our contemporary Worship Team. We worship with music that includes cherished hymns and classics from the church's historic past, as well as contemporary Christian music.
